The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we label what's estimated versus verified, and we don't sell your data.
What we collect
- Account basics: handle, email, division, birth year (self-reported, used for demographics and age-appropriate programming).
- Self-reported training data: height, weight, goals, schedule, and current maxes — all treated as estimates until verified.
- Movement data as described in the Biometric Consent policy.
- Competition data: entries, verified results, weigh-ins, and — if you place — your public podium result.
What's public
- Nothing, unless you compete or share. Leaderboard placement uses your handle. Podium finishes (top three) are public by design — that's stated before you enter.
- Non-podium results never appear on the feed unless you explicitly share them.
What we don't do
- Sell personal or biometric data.
- Run third-party ad targeting on your movement data.
- Show anyone a fabricated measured number — including you.
Payments, deletion, contact
Payments are processed by our payment provider; Cence doesn't store full card numbers. You can request account deletion at any time from Settings; competition records tied to paid prizes are retained as required for legal and dispute purposes. Questions: hello@cence.me.
